Throne of the Void King

Throne of the Void King is the dungeon the whole Void Throne island was built to explain, and it explains it too late. From the outside it is a court: sentinels at the doors, courtiers in the halls, an archivist keeping records, a throne at the end with a king on it. Everything about the layout invites you to read it as a kingdom that needs toppling, and every part of that reading is a mistake.
The tell is in the staff. A Null Archivist is not a bureaucrat, it is a filing system for things that must not be allowed to happen. The Crownbearer of Nothing carries a crown with no head to put it on. The Voice of the Empty Throne speaks for a seat that was never occupied in the sense you assume. The closer you get to the throne, the more the court looks like the crew of a containment site wearing the uniform of a monarchy.

The final boss
Void King Maleth-Ur was not ruling the void. He was a lid. What he was holding shut is an hour that never got written, and he took the job because somebody had to and then held it long enough that the shape of a king grew over him. The King's Left Hand fights to keep you off him. He fights to keep you off it. Killing him works, and that is the problem.
Before you enter
The recommended level is 60. Treat it as a starting point: farm earlier tiers, upgrade gear, and adjust your pet when a boss stops you.
Difficulty inside a dungeon comes from one number that climbs with the tier, and the step between tiers is a large fraction of the gap between dungeons. So a wall at tier 7 here is not a signal to grind this dungeon harder - it usually means the opening tiers of the next dungeon are a better use of the hour, and you come back with the gear they dropped.
