Brawler

Pure brute force. STR gives both punch AND armor - a living wall that lands the heaviest single hits in the game.
How it plays
The only class where Strength grants armor, which means offense and defense are the same stat and gearing is refreshingly simple. Bone Break stuns, Flurry converts one turn into two to four hits, and the whole kit is built around the enemy losing turns while you keep taking yours. It is the most forgiving class to gear and the least forgiving to misplay against heavy resistances.
Passive
Iron Skin Every point of Strength grants +0.4 armor (on top of Endurance).
Skills
Bone Break · Lv 10
Chance for a permanent enemy armor reduction (stacks).
Flurry of Hits · Lv 25
Chance to trigger a series of 2-4 weaker hits in a single turn.
Stat priority
- 1. STR (damage + armor + HP)
- 2. END (HP + armor)
- 3. AGI (a little dodge + HP)
Why those stats
Strength does three jobs on a Brawler - damage, armor and health - so it is not close. Endurance stacks on top for the same reason it always does. Agility gets the leftovers, mostly for the health.
The common mistake
Ignoring armor penetration. Brawlers hit hard enough to feel unstoppable until they meet something armored, at which point the armor curve eats the entire advantage and Flurry becomes four small numbers instead of four large ones.
Ascension paths

Juggernaut
The immovable object.

Destroyer
Turns tankiness into offense.
